Remembrance Day

On Remembrance Day members of the armed forces (soldiers, sailors and airmen) are commemorated.

The other common name for this day is Armistice Day which marks the date and time when armies stopped fighting World War I, on November 11th at 11am in 1918 (the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month). Some 100,000 Canadian soldiers died in the First and Second World Wars.

Kinder Field Trip to 4Cats Art Studio

The Davin Kinders had an amazing time at 4Cats Art Studio! The children explored their creative sides and expanded their 'messy' limits! The children loved exploring different colour pallets. Each child did some splatter painting - channeling their inner Jackson Pollock and then created a small spin art painting. We even drew with pastels! Thanks to all of the awesome Davin parents for supporting our field trip!

Davin School Supports the United Way

We are fundraising for the United Way from Oct. 20-Nov.30. The United Way has supported Regina Public Schools through summer reading camps and donations for classroom libraries throughout the city. We will kick off this fundraising event tomorrow (Oct. 20) with a candy guess. Your child can guess the amount of candy in the jar which will cost .50 cents/guess. There will be 3 jars and the 3 winners will be presented their jar of candy at the October 27th assembly.
